RECIPES WITH CHEESE
Hot sandwich with sliced goat cheese, pastrami & fig jam
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 8 minutes
INGREDIENTS (serves 4 people)
8 slices of sourdough bread
80 g butter (room temperature)
4 tsp dijon mustard
12 slices of goat cheese STAMOU
4 slices pastrami (or another deli meat)
4 tbsp fig or tomato jam
METHOD
- Preheat the oven to 170°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Spread butter on all slices of bread and Dijon mustard on half of them.
- Layer the goat cheese slices, pastrami, and fig jam on the mustard-coated slices.
- Top with the remaining bread slices to form sandwiches.
- Spread the rest of the butter on the outside of the sandwiches and bake for 8 minutes, until golden and crispy, and the cheese has melted.
Tip: Serve with a green salad for a perfectly balanced meal!
