Cheese Fondue Served in a Pumpkin

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 45 minutes

INGREDIENTS (for 6 people)

1 medium pumpkin
Olive oil
400 g STAMOU graviera cheese
1 tbsp mustard
80 ml heavy cream
300 ml cider or white wine
2 garlic cloves
1 baguette, cut into cubes for serving

METHOD

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Cut off the top of the pumpkin and remove the fibers and seeds.
  3. Drizzle with a little olive oil, replace the lid, and roast for 15 minutes.
  4. Grate the graviera cheese (using the fine side of the grater) and place it in a bowl with mustard, heavy cream, cider, and garlic cloves.
  5. Stir the mixture and fill the pumpkin with it.
  6. Roast for 25–30 minutes until the graviera cheese has melted and serve with the bread cubes.
