RECIPES WITH ICE-CREAM
Baked apples with Lotus Ice-Cream
Preparation time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 30-45 minutes
INGREDIENTS
6 large red apples
50g brown sugar
40g chopped walnuts
45g raisins
20g butter
1 tsp Ceylon cinnamon
For the filling:
STAMOU Lotus Ice Cream
Lotus-style biscuits
METHOD
- Preheat the oven to 190°C.
- Cut off the top of each apple and set it aside if you’d like to use it for serving.
- Using a knife or an apple corer, remove the cores to create space for the filling.
- Make sure to remove all the seeds, leaving a hollow center.
- In a bowl, mix the sugar, walnuts, raisins, butter, and cinnamon.
- Stuff the apples with the mixture and place them in a baking dish.
- Bake for 30-45 minutes, until the apples are soft.
- Fill each apple with scoops of Lotus ice cream and sprinkle with crushed biscuits before serving.
