RECIPES WITH YOGHURT
Yoghurt cake with quince spoon sweet
INGREDIENTS (for a 22×10 cm loaf tin)
160 g butter, at room temperature
300 g all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
250 g STAMOU Plousio yoghurt
3 eggs
300 g icing sugar
Zest of 1 lemon
Zest of 1 orange
1 jar quince spoon sweet, for serving
METHOD
- Preheat the oven to 160oC.
- Beat the eggs with the icing sugar until fluffy.
- Slowly add the butter and yoghurt, continuing to beat at a low speed.
- Mix the flour in a bowl with the baking powder and the zest. Add them to the yoghurt mixture, stirring until the ingredients are well combined.
- Butter the loaf tin and pour in the mixture.
- Bake for about 40 minutes.
- When the cake cools, sprinkle with icing sugar, and garnish with the quince spoon sweet.
