RECIPES WITH BUTTER
Flavoured Butter
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooling time: 1-2 hours
Butter with smoked paprika
INGREDIENTS (for 1 stick)
85g butter
1 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp chili flakes
Zest of 1 lime
Butter with garlic and herbs
INGREDIENTS (for 1 stick)
85g butter
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 sprig of fresh rosemary, finely chopped
1 sprig of fresh oregano, finely chopped
1 small bunch of fresh basil, finely chopped
Zest of 1 lemon
Salt and pepper
Butter with mustard and honey
INGREDIENTS (for 1 stick)
85g butter
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp mustard with seeds
1 tbsp classic yellow mustard
Salt and pepper
For serving
Sourdough bread
METHOD
- Leave the butter to soften at room temperature. Cut into thirds, then stir each third in a separate bowl with a wooden spoon, until fluffy.
- Add the ingredients for each separate flavoured butter and mix.
- Place on baking paper and roll into the shape of candy, twisting the two ends of the paper to seal the roll.
- Place the sticks in the fridge for 1 hour until firm.
- Serve with fresh sourdough bread.
Tip: The sticks may be preserved for up to 1 month, wrapped in the fridge.
