Cheese balls with nuts and pomegranate seeds

INGREDIENTS
(for 15 – 16 walnut-sized cheese balls)

300 g STAMOU crumbled cheese
400 g cream cheese
1 tbsp butter
100 g walnuts
50 g Aegina pistachios
50 g hazelnuts
Pomegranate seeds from 1 pomegranate
A variety of crackers for cheese to serve

METHOD

  1. Mix the crumbled cheese with the cream cheese and add the clarified butter.
  2. Shape the mixture into small balls and refrigerate for 2-3 hours. Crush the nuts and spread them on a tray, together with the pomegranate seeds.
  3. Roll the balls over the tray until they are covered.
  4. Serve the cheese balls with a variety of crackers.
