RECIPES WITH CHEESE
Cheese balls with nuts and pomegranate seeds
INGREDIENTS
(for 15 – 16 walnut-sized cheese balls)
300 g STAMOU crumbled cheese
400 g cream cheese
1 tbsp butter
100 g walnuts
50 g Aegina pistachios
50 g hazelnuts
Pomegranate seeds from 1 pomegranate
A variety of crackers for cheese to serve
METHOD
- Mix the crumbled cheese with the cream cheese and add the clarified butter.
- Shape the mixture into small balls and refrigerate for 2-3 hours. Crush the nuts and spread them on a tray, together with the pomegranate seeds.
- Roll the balls over the tray until they are covered.
- Serve the cheese balls with a variety of crackers.
